Most people heading to Cabo want a place with a water view, but sometimes the best spots lie a bit back from the shoreline, as is the case with the Bungalows Hotel, where I have stayed multiple times and where each visit feels like I’m coming home. The staff here are so welcoming, so kind. The rooms are impeccably clean and have beautiful decorations, artisan soaps and amenities. The pool is sublime. But what makes the great stay even greater are the super breakfasts, which come with the room. Oat and honey waffles dusted with almonds, freshly made fruit smoothies, rich coffee served just the way you like it. It doesn’t get better.
Everywhere you look, the perfectly manicured gardens calm and soothe, with bright, how-could-you-possibly-worry bougainvilleas bursting out of every flowerpot.
Those who come to Cabo looking to party in the hotel zone have only a few minutes’ taxi ride or a short ten minute walk to get to the center of it all, but it truly is bliss to not worry about pounding beers and staying up until 4am. You kind of just don’t want to leave once you’re here.
